ASUS ADDING WIMAX FEATURE TO 2008 LAPTOPS

Asus surprised us all this week when they announced that they would be featuring their new 2008 laptops with WiMax features. WiMax is the next best thing in wireless technology that is powered by Intel. Asus is using Sprint to host the wireless technology for them.

Asus stated that they will be adding the new feature to their 2008 laptops as well as the Ferrari and Eee PC’s. Asus is planning on releasing the new laptops by early May. "This is the year WiMax becomes reality," stated the Senior VP at Sprint. It seems that the guys at Asus aren’t the only ones taking advantage of this new feature. Who knows it may be more popular than DSL was.
