Well this was not a surprise at all. Intel has just been crowned the king of the chip manufacturing world by iSuppli. What is a little more disheartening is the fact that AMD has slipped out of the top ten position because of its decline of 7.8% sales back in 2008. Right now it holds onto the 12'th position.

INTEL GETS CROWN FOR BIGGEST CHIP MANUFACTURER
Well this was not a surprise at all. Intel has just been crowned the king of the chip manufacturing world by iSuppli.
