ASUS 11.6-INCH Eee PC 1101HA COMING TO EU THIS MONTH

If you've been keeping up with this blog, you would have remembered that Asus demoed the Eee PC 1101HA back at Computex. Well they have not given it an official release date, but Notebook Italia is claiming the beast of a netbook is coming to Europe by months end. More importantly the device (according to them) will retail for the U.S equivalent of $560.

This is for a system that packs a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, Intel GMA graphics, 1GB of random access memory, 160GB hard disk drive and Window's XP to boot.

While we have heard rumors of a 3G version of said laptop that is yet to be clarified. Check out the video below.

ASUS COMING OUT WITH 11.6-INCH Eee PC THIS MONTH?

From the ever so unreliable DigiTimes: ASUS is planning to release an 11.6 inch Eee PC by month's end. While we have chided DigiTimes for being very inaccurate at times this piece of info seems to fall in nicely with some more that we heard earlier about Jerry Shen promising to never surpass the 10-inch mark without creaking a spin-off.

MSI CULV X-SLIM X340 SHIPPING TO US THIS MONTH

Remember back at CES MSI came clean on those one inch notebooks that would carry Atom and CULV processors? Well said notebooks will be available sometime later this month here in the states and they will be for about $1,000.

LAPTOPS THAT SPELL STYLE & PERFORMANCE FOR THE MONTH

1. Dell XPS M1530 (formerly #1) - The Dell XPS M1530 is the bigger brother to the XPS M1330. It's a 15.4-inch display lustrous looking performance laptop that offers the authoritative NVidia 8600m graphics card. The XPS M1530 is accessible in black, red, midnight blue and white color shades.

2. Lenovo ThinkPad T61 (formerly #2) - The ThinkPad T61 was unconstrained in May of 2007 and is still holding physically powerful on the most fashionable charts. The T61 carries on board the Intel Santa Rosa (Centrino Duo) platform and improves upon the trendy T60 by offering an even sturdier assemble and extra port options.

5. HP Pavilion dv6700t (formerly #5) - The HP dv6700t amusement laptop PC is the substitute for the admired dv6500t. This notebook delivers a 15.4" Bright view flaunt, astounding high-gloss blueprint, Intel's Core Duo processors and the inclination to promote to an NVidia Geforce 8400M GS graphics card with 256MB devoted video memory.

MODBOOK TABLET PC TO ARRIVE NEXT MONTH

The ModBook is a Tablet PC created from a MacBook. Axiotron has been talking about this new PC for quite some time and we have been waiting patiently for its release – which keep getting pushed back for some reason or another. It seems though that we may not have to wait much longer.
