FUJITSU M2010 NETBOOK

Yes! We're just as tired of all this netbook hoopla as you are, but this one seems to be quite cool (if we do say so ourselves). Turns out Fijitsu is making the market rounds with a netbook that carries built-in Bluetooth and a bundled DVD burner and wireless mouse. Of course the rest of things is standard netbook crap like the 1.6GHz Atom processor, 1GB of RAM and 160GB hard drive.

DELL XPS M2010 REVIEW

Introduction
This is by far Dell’s largest and most featured notebook so far. Even though it is now 3 years old this laptop still got a lot to offer with the well made design and the 20-inch screen.

Design
This machine is really a beast simple because it is so huge! The Dell XPS M2010 features a 20 inch screen which it is hard to beat. The hinge on this laptop offers a great deal of freedom for the screen and it is very solid overall. The Dell logo also glows in blue while in standby mode which I think is very cool.

This notebook also comes with a Bluetooth mouse. The mouse is very good and responsive at a dark surface. On a whiter surface I had some issues with the response from the mouse. The keyboard is also very nice and it is exactly same size as a standard desktop keyboard.

Facilities
The notebook features many connection facilities like 4 USB 2.0 ports, an Express Card slot, FireWire, IR, Compact Flash reader, SD/MMC/MS/XD reader, standard audio/microphone inputs, S-video, DVI, and modem/Ethernet ports. Dell really did go all out on expandability. The battery life last for about 2 hours which is pretty poor but since the laptop is so big, you will mostly use it at places were you can plug it into a power output.

Performance
Even though the video card is outdated (3 years old) this laptop sill got a lot to offer. The laptop features a T7200 2.0GHz processor from Intel, a Radeon x1800 and 2 GB RAM. This not and never have been much of a gaming laptop because of the poor graphic card, however the CPU and the RAM makes it a mood multimedia laptop. On 3DMark 2005 I got 5054 3DMarks and on PCMark05 I got 4652 PCMarks.

Conclusion
The Dell XPS M2010 could easily be your media center, gaming notebook, and work notebook. Even though the graphics are outdated this laptop still got a lot to offer. A very good system for those who think laptops are to small and desktops are to big.

Pros
+ 20 inch high quality screen
+ Good multimedia notebook
+ Stylish design

Cons
- Weak graphics
