PACKARD BELL ANNOUNCES VALENTINO ROSSI DESIGNER NOTEBOOK

Packard Bell has unveiled a Valentino Rossi edition of its dot notebook. Rossi is an Italian motorcycle racer with a huge fan following around the world. The notebook looks pretty slick and its design may appeal to both guys and gals.

No word on specs available at the moment. But the images indicate that the notebook could be a designer version of the Packard Bell Dot M/U which is actually a rebranded version of the Acer Aspire 1410. If that is indeed so, then you can expect to get an Intel CULV processor, GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics and an 11.6 inch display. You will also get a reasonable amount of storage space and memory.

PACKARD BELL ANNOUNCES 10.1 INCH AND 11.6 INCH MINI LAPTOPS

Packard Bell has announced two mini-laptops featuring 10.1 inch and 11.6 inch displays.

The smaller model called Dot S2 has an Intel Atom N450 processor, 1 GB of DDR2 RAM and a 160GB SATA hard drive. It will have the regular connectivity options – both wireless and wired. The machine is likely to ship with Windows XP Home. Prices are expected to be in the range of 250-300€.

The other model – the Butterfly XS – has a faster Intel SU4100 processor, 2 GB of DDR2 of RAM and a 250GB SATA hard drive. It is equipped with a 6-cell battery and will ship with Windows 7 Home Premium. A higher-end model with a Core2 Solo SU3500 and a 320GB hard drive is also likely to be released soon.

While there is no official confirmation in this regard, both laptops are likely to have multi-touch capable touchpads.

ACER LAUNCHES PACKARD BELL BUTTERFLY TOUCH

Acer has introduced another laptop identical to the just-launched Aspire Timeline 1810TZ under the Packard Bell name. The Aspire 1810TZ is a convertible tablet with an 11.6 inch touch screen display and a high capacity battery.

Like the 1810TZ, the Packard Bell Butterfly Touch has an 11.6 inch touch screen display with 1366x768 pixels and runs on the Windows 7 Home Premium. It reportedly has an 8 cell battery. Other specifications of both laptops are more or less the same. The Butterfly Touch is expected to be available in Europe for 599 Euros from October 22nd.

PACKARD BELL RELEASES EASYNOTE BUTTERFLY NOTEBOOK

The 15.6 inch EasyNote Butterfly from Packard Bell is equipped with an ultra low voltage processor and switchable graphics options. Another draw is the accessible price point.

The 15.6 inch EasyNote Butterfly is more stylish than the previous 13.4 inch version. It was first displayed at IFA. Packard Bell has not yet specified the processor it would use on this notebook, but the graphics option will be an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330. Other specifications include 640 GB hard disk and 4GB RAM. The trackpad will feature multi-touch capabilities. Connectivity options include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11n.

The EasyNotes will be released in Europe next month with a starting price of €599 (a touch under $899). There is no information regarding availability in the US.

PACKARD DELL RELEASES DOT M/U NETBOOK

Packard Dell claims that its 11.6 inch dot m/u netbook will offer the same performance as a notebook does. The dot m/u is larger than most netbooks; it is costlier too.

This netbook will have a power efficient Intel processor, instead of the Atom CPU common in netbooks. Up to 4GB of RAM can be installed. The maximum hard disk capacity is 500GB. Other features include multitouch trackpad, multicard reader and optional integrated 3G.

At just 3lbs, the dot m/u is ultraportable. It comes preinstalled with Windows 7 and will be available soon after the release of Windows 7.

PACKARD BELL 13.4-INCH EASYNOTE BUTTERFLY LAPTOP

Packard Bell, known for their ugly ass net and notebooks seem to be stepping away from their trademark with their just announced EasyNote Butterfly laptop. While the name does not give any signs that it would be something cute and colorful.

PACKARD BELL DOT , A FAMILY NETBOOK

As for the rest of its features, has three USB ports (enough for many), a card reader 5 in 1, and an integrated webcam.

In addition, uses wireless technology WiFi b / g and, optionally, can be completed with a module for 3G connections.

The operating system of this NETBOOK Packard Bell is Windows XP and comes with a price of 350 €.

All in all ,I can recommend this netbook if you are in need for a "laptop" ( saying laptop because netbook is a series of laptops) that can hold your household data ,and I can freely say that it can be used also for other normal purposes that other netbooks have.
