For some of us we can remember a time when a computer was a huge machine that took up half the room. Over time it has become smaller and smaller and easier to use (at least for some of us). When the laptop was created we were amazed at how small a computer could be.Laptops have always been popular – but it seems that they are quickly out growing the desktop to the point where we may not see one in the coming future. Why shouldn’t someone opt for light weight computer that they can take with them everywhere? Already we are seeing a decrease in sales for the desktop. In 2007 over 110 million laptops were sold to consumers.
