SAMSUNG TO INTRODUCE TWO CULV NOTEBOOKS

Samsung is expected to announce two new notebooks soon. Dubbed X420 and X520, they will have a CULV processor.

The Samsung X420 will use a low voltage Intel Pentium Dual Core SU2700 1.30 GHz processor. Other hardware specifications include a 250GB 5400RPM hard drive and 3GB DDR3 RAM. The X420 has a 14 inch display.

The X520 has a 15.6 inch display. It is equipped with an ultra-low voltage processor with a 320GB HDD and 4GB DDR3 memory. The graphics on both notebooks will be handled by the integrated Intel GMA X4500M cards. There will be the usual number of ports. The 6-cell battery is expected to give up to 9 hours of battery life. The notebooks are expected to be released after the official launch of Windows 7 in October.

RUMOR: APPLE TO INTRODUCE NEW 'ULTRA PORTABLE' LAPTOP

The rumor mill is flying around the internet and this time there is news of a new mini laptop that is ‘ultra portable’ and will be coming from Mac. Now usually our rumors are confirmed by the company themselves or someone from the company – but this time it seems that rapper Just Blaze – who performed at a company party for all of the Apple Employees – has confirmed the rumors.

Apparently several employees leaked out the information to Just Blaze - that on January 14th Apple will be introducing the new 12” ‘ultra portable’ laptops. Of course it is easy to leak out information to the well known rapper when you are giving one of the brand new laptops to him (and each of the band members) as payment for playing at their party. We’ll make sure to keep our eyes and ears open and report with more information after Apple has shown it off and given us all the details.
