The Microsoft SideWinder X8 is the first wireless gaming mouse to come with Microsoft’s BlueTrack Technology which allows better tracking capabilities. It may not be as convenient as a compact Bluetooth mouse, but in performance it is simply the best.

The Microsoft SideWinder X8 mouse is much better than the previous SideWinder gaming mouse. It has better ergonomics and it is wireless. The mouse comes with a 2.4GHz Wireless connection with 500Hz USB reporting which allows lag-free gaming. Other features include a ‘Play and Charge’ which supports up to 30 hours of wireless gaming. There are 12 buttons, seven of which are programmable. On the flip side, it doesn’t have the customizable weights. It also lacks the ruggedness of its predecessors. Another problem with the mouse is its poor battery life. If you tend to play a lot of games, you will have to recharge it almost every other day.
