TOSHIBA SATELLITE L350 SERIES IS PUMPED INTO THE MARKET

Toshiba launched a new entrant to its 17.1-inch desktop replacement notebook line with the all new Satellite L350 series, loaded with dual-core processors and at an affordable starting price tag of $749.99. The new Satellite notebook offers some basic multimedia capabilities including a large 17.1-inch diagonal widescreen Tru-Brite screen, built-in Web cam, ATI Radeon X1250 dedicated graphics and a DVD Super-Multi drive with Label-flash for CD scribing facility. More importantly, consumers will presented with the choice of dual core processors from either AMD or Intel. The Satellite L350 series is available in several different configurations, including the Satellite existing series the L355D-S7810, which features an AMD TurionTM 64-X2 -Dual-Core Mobile Technology along with TL-60 processor.

SAMSUNG MP2 2.5” HARD DRIVE PUMPED WITH 250GB

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a worldwide head in digital consumer electronics and information technology, proclaimed today its new first-rate Spin point MP2, a 250GB 2.5” hard drive that carries 125GB per diskette. The small 2.5” form feature makes it ideal for mobile applications such as Laptop PCs as well as conventional desktop PCs.

“As the capacity, performance, and solidity features are analogous with 3.5” hard drives, Samsung’s 2.5” drive offers our customers a lesser form factor with all the recompense of a 3.5” drive,” said Andy Higginbotham, director of hard drive sales and marketing, Samsung Semiconductor.

The Spin point MP2 features 7200rpm speed rotation, SATA II 3.0 Gbps interface and Native Command Queuing utilities for advanced performance. The MP2 is intended for entry-level venture applications with high performance requirements such as workstations and RAID or blade servers.

Samsung’s Spin point MP2 hard drive greatly develops the storage capacity of portable products, in step with the surging expansion of multimedia content and the swiftly changing portable environment.
