ELITE GROUP COMPUTER LAUNCHES THE ECS G10IL MINI-LAPTOP

The Elite group Computer Systems has officially revealed the ECS G10IL mini-laptop, featuring the Intel Atom "Diamond-ville" processor, with an 8.2-inch or 10.2-inch display screen, and mobile broadband (HSPA) connectivity. The "Diamond-ville" is Intel's latest single core Atom CPU, designed specially for use in UMPCs, MIDs, and small laptops. In the ECS G10IL, it joins forces along with the Intel 945 GSE chipset, boosted up to 2GB of system memory, and a hard disk drive or solid state drive, depending on model you pick. It even comes loaded with in built tri-band HSDPA and HSUPA, also christened the "Super-3G" technology.

ECS G10IL SUB NOTEBOOK

The latest EEE contender up to the plate comes with a new twist the 3G broadband. ECS Elite group officially revealed its ECS G10IL sub notebook on Wednesday.

With its integrated HSPDA and HSUPA (or “Super 3G”) radios, ECS claims the G10IL will be capable to hit download speeds of 7.2 Mb/s and upload speeds of 2Mb/s. WLAN and Bluetooth are also customary, along with a 4-in-1 card reader, 56K modem, Ethernet port, 3 USB 2.0 ports, and a 1.3-megapixel webcam.

The Elite group Computer Systems (ECS) has unveiled its latest kid on the block the G10IL net book (the so called mini-notebook by ECS) will be available with either a 10.2- or 8.9-inch classy glossy display.

The net book features a built-in tri-band HSDPA and HSUPA modem to allow up to a staggering download speeds up to 7.2Mb/s or 2Mb/s. It also comes with three USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet networking, a 56kbps analog modem, WLAN, Bluetooth, a four-in-one card reader, and 1.3-mega pixel camera.

The G10IL comes loaded with a chipset of Intel 945 GSE (w/o S-Video) + ICH7M , The memory support is extendable up to 2 GB sounds pretty realistic. The extendable storage capability comes in the form of HDD and the SSD is also available for the extra mileage of data’s. The battery is either 4-cell or 6-cell, and the capacity to run is yet to be determined.
