
Dell will release its ultra-thin Adamo XPS notebook this holiday season. The Dell Adamo XPS offers a great combination of portability, style and performance.
The Dell Adamo XPS has a 13.4 inch LED backlit display with 1280x720 pixels. The machine weighs 3.2lbs. Based on an Intel GS45 chipset, the Adamo XPS is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.40GHz CULV processor and comes with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system. Up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM can be installed. The standard storage option is a 120GB solid state drive. Other notable features include Wi-Fib/g/n, HDMI, VGA ports, optional DVD burner/Blu-ray drive, Bluetooth 2.1, DisplayPort and 2 USB 2.0 ports. Dell also provides the option of an external 250GB or 500GB hard disk drive for additional storage.
Two battery options are available. The 20WHr battery is expected to give 2.5 hours of battery life whereas the 40WHr battery may give around 5 hours. Prices start at $1,799.
