GRAPHICS ACCELERATOR KNOW-HOW - NVIDIA GEFORCE 8800M GTX

Dual NVidia Geforce 8800M GTX is pooled by SLI with the function to proffer the greatest graphic presentation for notebooks. In addition, DirectX 10 games should sprint effortlessly with elevated details in towering resolutions. Nevertheless, not every game ropes SLI satisfactorily. Therefore, only an augment of 0-40% is feasible (games only up to 10%), when compared with one single card. One of the specific features of Geforce 8800M GTX SLI is the "Unified Shaders". There don't possess committed Pixel- and Vertex Shaders but 2x96 so called Stream Processors make the detailed work (which consequently was done by the Pixel and Vertex Shaders). In addition, the Shaders units are highly clocked than the Chip (1250 MHz versus 800 MHz).

The presentation of the 8800M GTX SLI is a great deal better than dual 8700M GT SLI and reinstate the Geforce 7950 GTX SLI at the top of the graphic card list. Present games should run confidently with the high details. For the 1st time, it should also be probable to play DirectX 10 games with towering details. The present consumption and fashioned heat is a great deal higher than with the 8700M GT and thus the chip will be augmented only in big and heavy notebooks (as the predecessor 7950 GTX). At moment, a rumor spells 2x35 Watt TDP.

TROJAN KNOW-HOW

Law enforcement are warning Internet users about 'Trojan' emails consisting links to malicious websites that can steal perceptive information such as PINs and password log-ins from the vulnerable PCs and Notebooks.

The United Kingdom's National Hi-Tech Crime Unit (NHTCU) told the spam emails carry details of a fabricated order for computer goods or Web hosting and display the cost that will be charged to their credit card.

The email also carries a link to a site to view the order in more detailed form but if in case people click on the link, it takes them to a malicious site’s that allows hackers to steal data from the hacked systems.

The user is offered with a site that appears to be under construction but to take advantage of for a security flaw in MS's Internet Explorer browser allows the criminals to post a key-logging Trojan on an unpatched system. The hackers can then trace the victim's log-ins, passwords and PINs for online banking accounts the next time they use them.

Added to it, the Trojan compromises the machine, giving the hacker full remote access, which allows them to control the computer for other purposes without the knowledge of the user.

Downloading the latest Microsoft security patches for the well-publicized flaws in IE will protect the system against the scam.
