DELL XPS M1530 REVIEW

Introduction
Dell did a great success with the M1330 now they made a bigger version of it called M1530. This version offers a great 15-inch screen, good graphics and a fascinating design.
Let’s take a closer look what this beauty has to offer.

Design

Most people buys laptops with 15-inch screens, the Dell XPS M1330 was a strong success but had only a 13 inch screen. Now dell has made a new version of it with a 15-inch screen. The laptop looks great and it pretty much look like a bigger version of the M1330. The top pf the laptop is red and inside its black and white. The weight for this machine is simply 5,9 lbs and it is also very thin. The keyboard and mouse pad works great and it simple slides into your hand when you are writing on the keyboard.
Above the keyboard you will also find a series of touch sensitive media buttons with a blue LED backlight. You will also get a remote for this notebook because it works also great as a media center.

Screen
The screen has been upgraded from the M1330 to a 15-inch, it is also thinner and the quality is better. One thing we still miss on the screen is LED backlighting, now it can only offer you the standard CCFL. It is still good, bright and flawless though. You will also get a 2.0 MP in built webcam which is of good quality. The screen on our pre-production unit looks flawless from straight on and the horizontal viewing angles are great. Upper vertical viewing angles are good, but colors did begin to invert at lower viewing angles when the screen is tilted back.

Performance
This machine performs very well with a 2.20 GHz Core 2 Duo processor and Nvidia 8600 GT 256MB card. This will be enough for most gamers and you will have no problems playing the newest games. On Crysis we got an average FPS of 20, while on Call of Duty 4 we got amazingly 40 FPS average.

Conclusion
This is the hottest 15,4 notebook available from Dell, overall it is a great laptop and it fits for everyone, but especially for the average gamers.
