Introduction
This is an all-around notebook for general use, it is quite cheap and the weight is only 6.2 pounds. This may be the best laptop you can get for around 1000$

Design
The design is what I call normal, not very fascinating but also not boring. You will not find any HD-DVD rom on this notebook, only a DVD-Rom which works well enough. The laptop also got in-built Wi-Fi so you can connect to the internet wherever you go. You can also find firewire on it and the latest 2.0 USB ports which allows a speedy data transfer between peripherals.

Performance
The performance of this notebook is good for the cheap price, for the 1000$ you will get a 250GB hard drive which is considerably larger than some similarly priced notebooks, 2GB RAM and a Intel Core 2 Duo 1.5 GHz processor. All these components work very well together and it makes this a fast laptop for a cheap price. However the graphic chip isn’t much to brag about. You will have difficulties running newer games on this notebook and the performance would be weak.

Overall
The laptop is overall good and better then most laptops you get for around 1000$. It’s a good buy if you don’t care about playing games that much but rather use it for work, movies, surfing etc.
