HP PAVILION DV9700Z REVIEW

Introduction
This is a good and new laptop from Hewlett-Packard that features good performance and other facilities.

Design
The laptop looks pretty standard but still I find it attractive with the glossy surface and the silver/black colors. The laptop features a 17-inch screen if brilliant quality with a 1680x1050 resolution. For an “improved color gamut” in the dv9700z series, customers can select the Ultra BrightView 1440×900 dual lamp display. There are also many good features on this laptop like WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet LAN, a 56K modem, TV tuner, built-in webcam, fingerprint reader and a very good HD-DVD player. The laptop weights 7.7 lbs which is a good weight for a 17-inch laptop like this.

Performance
The performance is great and this laptop features a AMD not an Intel as we see in most laptops these days. However the AMD Athlon 64 x2processor and the Geforce 8400M graphic card are doing a great job running this laptop in both Windows XP and Vista. The notebook also support up to 4GB of memory and a maximum of 500GB storage space. The laptop will be able to run many games but not with good FPS, especially on the newest games.

Conclusion
This laptop offer a great value of money, and for only 799$ this brand new laptop can be yours. I like this laptop very much, the design is nice and the performance is excellent for the price. This is a very nice laptop if you want something great for a cheap price.
