Intel is releasing new models of laptops which they claim will only use 8W of power and will take less time to recharge. Their goal is to release these laptops at an affordable rate to compete with laptops that take at least four hours to recharge.
One of the biggest competitions that they will face is the new Asus Eee PC which has a starting price of $300. Because their first set of laptops will not be released till the third quarter of the year it will take Intel some time to catch up to everyone.
