This edition of Apple Macbook Pro series is basically for those on the move. Supplied with a powerful configuration for office tasks, this notebook has a sturdy design for executives on the go.
Design
With its outer Aluminum cover and flawless design, the notebook looks very elite and professional. The overall look is slick and the metal designing makes it strong enough. Absolutely no flex or creaking was observed in the complete notebook. The screen is 15.4” LED-backlight and the quality is great and so are the viewing angles. The keyboard and the touchpad, both are equally good, and the keys were responsive. A big plus is the fact that its a backlit keyboard, which allows you to type in dark places too. The connectivity options are also well defined, with 2 USB, DVI, Express Card, Firewire, WiFi, Ethernet and Audio ports.
Performance
The performance was really excellent, with the notebook performing well in both Operating environments, Windows Vista and Mac OS. The configuration is Intel Core-2-Duo T7500 2.2GHz, 2GB RAM, 120GB hard drive and 8600M GT GPU. The basic power is the GPU, which makes the system quite slick and fast in the performance. The overall results were quite good too. It was capable of churning out 3,321 3DMark 06, which is a great score and it means that you would be able to play the latest games at good resolutions. The presence of the GPU was evident in PCMark too, with the laptop achieving 5,864 PCMark 05. The multi-tasking was not a problem at all, and the business related and the most heavy tasks can be easily carried out. The battery life is decent, and with full load it gave a backup of around 3 hours 40 minutes. In gaming, it lasted only 1 hour 30 minutes, which is plain average.
Overall
The Apple Macbook Pro T7500 is a great notebook of its class, and has a decent configuration and design. And unlike other Apple notebooks, it can work with Windows too!
