HP COMPAQ 2710P REVIEW

Introduction
This is the newest ultra portable laptop from HP, the version we tested here costs around 1200 Euro that is quite acceptable for such a portable and new laptop.

Design
The first you notice when you look at this laptop is the amazing style. This laptop is actually meant for business men and that group of laptops tends to be a little bit boring but 2710P turns it all around. The laptop features silver and gray colors with and impressive hinge. You can also turn the screen 180 degree’s this could be really useful for a business man. The build quality is excellent and the laptop is very solid. The laptop is also very small and lightweight it only weights 1.6 KG and measures 290 by 28 by 212mm. The keyboard and touchpad also looks and works very well. Above the keyboard you can find some good looking touch sensitive buttons which works well for multimedia features.

Screen
This laptop features a 12.1-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The screen looks great and I love the way it is all put together. There is even a built in webcam on the screen. The screen also offers great image quality from all angels.

Performance
The HP 2710p features a 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 processor and 1 GB of RAM. For graphics you get the built-in Intel GM965. The performance here is not so good and you cannot run Windows Vista well on this machine. However for a business man this should be enough.

Conclusion
This is overall a great laptop. It is little bit weak on the performance part, but the wonderful design makes up for it. This is the perfect laptop for the young and stylish businessman, with this machine you will stand out from the crowd.
