The CompuDaypack line of SLR and Notebook bags from a few years back, Lowepro pioneered the 1st designs for a backpack that is capable of transporting both camera equipment and a laptop computer. While the CompuDaypack was unique, it was greatly criticized for its lower camera booth that wasn't easy to access. Photographers need quick retrieval of their gear whenever a photo opportunity arrives. Learning from this 1st attempt, Lowepro's Fastpack series - moves the access point on to the side of the bag allowing you to quickly grab your equipment and go.On the surface the Fast pack 250 is quite predictable and downright maybe even a little insipid, but look a little deeper and you will find the Fast pack offers a unique loom to the traditional camera or Notebook backpack.
Fast pack bags come in 2 sizes, with the smaller 250 suggested for larger semi-pro and pro-sized DSLRs and notebooks up to 15.4-inch screen. The larger 350 is designed for photographers using bigger lenses and holds 17-inch widescreen laptops. In both situations, the Fast pack has a typical backpack silhouette, with the Notebook storage inside a side-entry pocket located behind the back pad and the side-entry camera compartment found at the bottom of the bag. The Fast pack’s heavy-duty straps offer the ideal amount of stuffing for a bag of this size.
