SONY VAIO AR51SU REVIEW

Introduction
The Sony Vaio AR51SU may be big, but it is also very stylish. It also features huge storage space, a fast CPU, a good HD display and much more. All this will cost you around 2000 Euro.

Design
Even though the machine is big the design is there, it looks pretty cool with the silver band around the middle of the machine. This also makes the laptop look smaller then it actually is, this is a very smart trick from Sony. It also makes incredibly good use of the increased surface area to pack in a gorgeous 17-inch glossy X-black screen which offers intense colors and great contrast. The screen runs on a 1920x 1200 resolution and gives you the full benefit when you are watching a Blu-ray movie.

Performance
The performance of the machine is also good with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 processor and 2GB of RAM. You also get a lot of storage space on the Sony Vaio AR51SU, a total of 500 GB or better said 2 disks on 250 GB each! We tested the laptop in PCMark05 and got an amazing score of 5,412 points which is very good for a laptop. The game performance is also good on this laptop and on 3DMark06 we got a score of 4692 points which is a very good score. You also get an in-built TV tuner so you can watch TV on the laptop or even hook it up to the big screen at home with the HDMI port making it a lounge-friendly companion.

Conclusion
If you got the money for it and want some of the best multimedia laptop around then here you got it. The laptop is overall good with many strong sides and just a few weaknesses like for example the poor battery life.

Pros
