Design
The notebooks are present in different colors to make it more presentable. These stylish notebooks can be got from retailers in the choice of the colors. The different colors available are brown, silver and white. The design is nice and pleasant to be looked at and it is affordable too. Intel's powerful Core 2 Duo processors enhance the design with the performance and operations. They also feature 1.66GHz T5450 processors. The memory is noteworthy because it is a healthy 2GB (1GBX2) of swift 667MHz memory making the laptop appropriate for conducting severe applications. They also support up to 4GB of RAM. The design and the build are exclusively done and they look very grand. The lid is well furnished giving a metal look. A noteworthy storage space at 250GB on a 5,400rpm hard drive is present. The optical drive is inspiring because it is a multi-format DVD writer.

Performance
As told already in the design, the dual core processors provide excellent performance with 1.5GHz Core 2 Duo configured. a better graphics option would have done a better job. But even then, this performance is more than good for the average users. The 15.4-inch widescreen display does all justice conveying bright colors and crisp text. No wonder for a deep 1280X800 resolution, the display is good. Playing DVD movies or listening to music without having to fully boot up Windows is possible with AV mode. Internet connectivity is good and there is a Memory Stick and an SD slot to pop in the media card from USBs for file transfers. The quality is solid and built.

Conclusion
Thus Sony VAIO NR series are laptops with very nice looks with a variety of colors. They are affordable and look rich. Except for some minimal factors like battery wiggle, bloatware etc, the notebooks do all justice to the buyers who get it with expectations.
