ARE LAPTOPS SAFE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT?

With many discussions on the laptops all the days, have we ever thought on the reliability of laptops in relations with the environment? The points put forth for the fact that the laptops are safer for environment are they are small and the energy required is less. There will be small devices and accessories to be disposed. Thus it totals to the concept that the laptops are safer. But the point put forth against are that, the small nature of laptops is a result of many chips being played in the manufacturing industries, which does not make a difference. Even then, studies suggest that laptops are superior to personal computers with their portability and comparatively environmental concerned.
