LAPTOPS – THE BENCHMARKS OF DEVELOPMENT

Laptop technology is something that serves to be a benchmark for development. They say, if a country has all the children studying in laptops, they are as developed as the children in New York and the other developed places. One laptop per Child was started with this objective to meet the requirements of the developing counties. Recently Colombia’s signing up with the organization will prove the interest of these developing laces to provide the children with a laptop each. Even though there were many controversies that were arising against OLPC and its certainty, there are still governments willing to get their goals done.

Here we get the question of the use of laptops and their popularity among people. Thus laptops have become indispensable for development. The very fact that the children need laptops, will tell how important they have become in the developing context. OLPC has changed colors since its inception and it will change further. But the point is, even if there are uncertainties, the ultimate objective of reaching out to the children will be the laptop world’s achievement. There are many models that cater the needs of children are coming up, and that will give a clue of how laptops are going to revolutionize the entire world in the forthcoming years.
