R400 and R500: Just as it looks today, the R-series will prolong to serve as the entry level Think-Pads. The R400 (weighing 5.1lbs) and R500 (weighing 6.4lbs) are anticipated to be announced in July 2008.

T400 and T500: The mid-level Think-Pads swears either 256MB or 512MB ATI HD3650 bestowed graphics that can be turned off to preserve battery life. We weren't able to leak the sizes, but the T400 will weight some were around 4.3lbs and the T500 is supposed to weigh at 5.8lbs. Shipping of the unit starts June 3rd, 2008.

W-series: The all new W-series is intended for the "workstation replacement." visualize a slightly less bulky workstation notebook that carries the same dedicated graphics and the present T-series. The 15-inch W900 and the till date unnamed 17-inch variant is in the works for the future.

The Expected "many or all" of the newest Think-Pads will be presented with the following features:

• 6MB of L2 memory cache
• Turbo Memory alternative (up to 2GB)
• Blu-ray drive version
• 2 PCI Express Slots
• 1.6GHz DDR3 RAM
• LED Backlighting (excluding the R Series)
• HSDPA and EVDO
• 9-cell battery pack
• GPS, Wi-MAX, and wireless USB are scattered through models as connectivity options
• The X300's solid state hard drive option (excluding the W Series)
