It was clear from the recent happenings that One Laptop Per Child organization also called as OLPC was not sure of their business strategies and the objectives of the organization. When Microsoft joined the organizations for offering software, many raised eyebrows and expressed doubts on the objective of the organization using open-source software. But Microsoft is just the opposite. Reports say that Mr. Bender left the organization because he thought there “will be impacts from outside more than the impacts from within”. He has started Sugar Labs which will use the open-source software rivaling to the OLPC’s ‘new’ change. Laptops might reach children or not, but OLPC will change again.
