So far Asus has only hinted about a tablet and UMPC coming to the Eee line but that has not stopped those who are bent on bringing one to life before time from actually doing it. Aeeeris has released a $60 conversion kit that contains a reverse-facing replacement bezel for the 700-series netbook and provides indentations for a touch screen LCD. You can also buy a controller and pair of speakers to finish the mod and according to Aeeeris the conversion is a "breeze."The mod sounds pretty cool but the "easy as breeze" part is a little alarming. But if you're tech savvy like me than I am sure it shouldn't be too much problem and than again they have video tutorials so you shouldn't be out in the cold.
