You might remember that we took a first look at Dell's upcoming Inspiron 15 model that was expected to retail for $699.The unit is now available and comes in a variety of flavors and colors. The standard system comes with Intel Pentinum Dual Core or Intel Core 2 Duo processors. Vista Home Basic with SP-1 as well as Home Premium 32-bit and 64-bit are available.
You can get up to 4GB of Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM, Intel Cantiga GM45 Chipset, Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD. Glossy 15.6" widescreen XGA (1366x768) display, up to 320GB of HDD space, DVD or Blu-ray combo drive. Battery's come in 4, 6 or 9 cell flavors along with a built in 1.3 MP camera. WiFi 802.11 with the option for Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-Card are there. Last but not least you can top it off with Bluetooth 2.0.
Of course with almost everything maxed out you will be looking in the $1000 region but at least you get a cool Blu-Ray drive thingy.
