Lexibook, a French toymaker company that specializes in making educational games and gadgets for kids launched its latest product named Lexibook Laptop, described as “My first computer” this laptop is a slightly expensive toy you can consider for your kids.Lexibook laptop is available in single color option of bright sun orange. The hardware configuration, a 400 Megahertz CPU from Samsung, 64 MB RAM and 2 Gigabyte of SSD memory is caged inside a rugged body. Other features are 8 inch display with resolution of 800x400 pixels, 2 USB 1.1 ports, inbuilt Ethernet, SD card reader and traditional 3.5 inch socket for headphones and Microphone.
This laptop is powered by Windows CE Version 5.0 OS, and battery life is marked as 3 hours of operation. Their weight is slightly less than a Kilo at 830gms and its width is about 16 cm.
With lack of features like Wifi and a light configuration which is outranked by several smartphones one can buy these days, Lexibook laptop won't be able to make a big competition considering its overpriced price tag of 299 Euros. This laptop could have made great success by providing a better hardware configuration with at least full version of Windows OS.
