According to one more speculations, Sony is all set to release its VAIO P-series which will be the smallest Sony laptop to grace the stands to date. The Sony VAIO P-series will have an Intel processor with 1.33GHz, a max of 60GB hard drive or 128GB SSD, an 8-inch display that has 1600x786 pixel resolution and LED backlight, Bluetooth, 802.11n WiFi, mobile broadband and Windows Vista. This notebook has been recently tested by FCC and Sony released some teasers about the P-series on its online store and now some more pictures have been seen. Now don’t get exited, they were just a few close up images of the keyboard. The P-series is also speculated to have an odd shape of 9.5x4.5 inch based on its wide screen resolution and the P is supposed to mean that it will fit in your pocket. The new series will also be coated with an array of sophisticated colors. Sony recently stated that they were not interested in competing with the existing netbook market. So all we can speculate for now is that this P-series will be a hi-tech, ultraportable and definitely costly netbook. The Sony VAIO P-series will be unveiled at the CES which is fast approaching.
