Its been around in video concept for some time now, but its only been recently that Bumptop.
Basically the UI skin allows your computer (Window's only) to have a cool "room like" experience where objects are weighted and can be moved around by the flick of a finger. More importantly when Window's 7 comes out, we're hearing things will become a lot more interesting because of the multi-touch support.
