Hey people, they say nothing is better then getting an economy out of a recession then spending (not sure how true that is), but apparently Dell thinks so and with that has begun shipping its uber nice and uber pricey XT2 multi-touch tablet.
In case you forgot (we covered this last month), the system starts at $2,400 ($2,399 to be exact). Included in the price is an 80GB hard disk drive doing its thing at 5400rpm, 1.2GHz Intel Core Duo processor, Intel integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics, 4 cell battery and all your ports and what not.
The price goes up from there and can easily approach the $4,000 mark if equipped with a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 3GB of RAM (DDR3), 128GB SSD and WWAN, Bluetooth and 802.11n WiFi.
The item says to have free 3-5 day shipping and the preliminary date is April ninth.
