LENOVO IDEAPAD S10-2 REVIEW

The IdeaPad s10-2 is the latest addition to the 10 inch netbooks from Lenovo. It comes with the 1.6 Ghz N270 Intel Atom processor and a 6-cell extended battery. This netbook is slimmer and more attractive than its predecessors.

Build quality is very good. The keyboard is a bit small, but you will get used to typing on the small keys after a while. The touch pad is a Synaptics model and offers limited multi-touch support. There are three USB ports, audio jacks, LAN, VGA and a Kensington Lock Slot. There is no ExpressCard/34 slot.

Performance and Benchmarks
Performance is satisfactory. The netbook can easily handle tasks like web-surfing, word processing or playing music. You can also watch a 480p and 720p video without much trouble. At slightly over 7 hours, the battery life is excellent. Prices start at $439.
