No people, we’re not talking about a netbook here. What you are looking at is a full fledged notebook that is packing an AMD processor (those things don’t come in netbooks).The Compaq CQ60-419WM is packed with such features as an AMD Sempron SI-42 processor, NVIDIA GeForce 8200M graphics, 3GB of DDR2 RAM, 160GB hard drive (yes, yes we know its small) and a DVD burner. Wal-Mart has these babies for only $298. The model is not that new as it has been on sale for quite some time now (granted for $170 more), but the latest price cut is enough for any barging shopper to get one.
This is based on “while supplies last” so if you’re interested get over to your local Sam Walton store and pick one up. Oh and did we mention its packing a 15.6 inch 1366x768 screen? Yeah, yeah we know.
