Asus has added two new notebooks – the 16 inch N61 and 17.3 inch N71 - to its popular N-series. The Asus N-series notebooks are known for their multimedia capabilities. The new additions won’t be any different either.
Asus claims that the new notebooks will offer a fantastic audio experience. The N61 and N71 are equipped with the Altec Lansing speakers in SRS Premium Sound. They also make use of Asus’s SonicMaster technology which improves the sound quality over a number of audio ranges.
The N61 and N71 can be configured with either an Intel Core 2 Duo or an Intel Core 2 Quad processor. Up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM can be installed. The hard disk capacity is 500GB. For gaming, there is a 1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 240M or GT 220M GPU. There is also a Blu-ray drive. Both notebooks have a resolution of 1366x768.
