Dell has plans to release a kid friendly netbook in association with Nickelodeon. The new netbook will feature a slime motif theme. It is based on the Dell Mini 10v and is expected to be released online and at Wal-Mart in October.
Dell has not yet announced the specifications for this netbook. But as it is based on the Dell Mini 10v netbook, it is safe to assume that this netbook will have an Intel Atom N270 CPU with 1GB RAM and a webcam.
This being a netbook for kids, it will have plenty of parental controls. It will also provide easy access to activities at Whyville.net and exclusive Dell/Nick related portals. Dell is also working on other designs using the iCarly and SpongeBob SquarePants themes.
