
Nokia revealed its first laptop, the Booklet 3G, at the Nokia World 09 conference. This is a 10.1 inch thin and light machine weighing just 1.25kg and measures less than 1 inch in thickness. Another really attractive feature of this netbook is its battery life. Nokia claims that the 16-cell user removable battery will provide up to 12 hours of uptime.
The Booklet 3G will run on an Intel Atom Z530 1.6GHz processor. Other specifications include 1GB of RAM and 120GB of hard disk capacity. The screen comes with a resolution of 1280x720. Other features include 3 USB ports, Assisted GPS, HDMI, a webcam, a card reader, 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, integrated 3G and hot-swappable SIM slot and an accelerometer.
Pricing and availability
Exact details are not yet known. But the machine is expected to cost around $800.
