We have been hearing about Dell Zino HD for sometime now. Dell is yet to make any official announcements about the product but some details have, nevertheless, emerged. Unofficial sources claim that the device will be rebranded as Inspiron 400.
The Inspiron 400 will be similar to the Mac Mini. It will run on either an AMD Athlon or Athlon X2 processor. Other features of this PC include Ethernet, VGA, HDMI, 2 eSATA ports, WiFi and a Super Multi Drive. Optional features include Blu-ray. Up to 8GB of RAM can be installed. For graphics, there is ATI Mobility Radeon 4330 GPU.
Dell may also release a cheaper version in the form of Inspiron Mini 300. In looks it will be similar to the Mini 400, but will have regular nettop specifications including Atom processor, integrated Intel GMA graphics, 1GB of RAM, VGA, USB and audio ports. The Mini 300 will not be capable of handling HD content.
No information regarding pricing or availability has been announced as yet.
