Netbooks are becoming a rage these days and it seems Google, too, wants a piece of the action. If TechCrunch got it correct, we will be seeing a Google netbook before the end of next year. According to sources (unofficial, of course) Google is in talks with hardware manufactures about making a netbook. Sources also claim that detailed specs of the device have already been proposed and agreed upon. It seems the only thing missing is an official release date.
Specifications of the device have not yet been leaked. But one thing is certain: the machine will run Google Chrome. Another possibility is that it could be powered by an ARM processor. In that case it will be a smartbook and not a netbook.
