HP PAVILION DM1 TO GO ON SALE IN JAPAN


HP has officially announced the Pavilion DM1. The device is all set to go on sale in Japan this November for about $780. The Pavilion DM1 is an 11.6 inch notebook powered by an Intel Consumer Ultra Low Voltage (CULV) processor. Some leaked info about this model had been doing the rounds for a while.

The Pavilion DM1 is powered by a dual core 1.2 GHz Intel Celeron SU2300 processor with GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics. It is equipped with an 11.6 inch display featuring 1366x768 pixels. Up to 5GB of RAM can be installed. Other features include a 250GB hard drive, HDMI, WiFi 802.11b/g, VGA, 2 USB ports and Ethernet. The 6-cell battery is expected to give up to 8 hours of up time.

The machine will weigh 3.3 pounds with the battery. It will run on the Windows 7 Home Premium Operating System.
