Xitrix, a Philippine PC maker, has introduced its first netbook. The company has already produced some desktops and notebooks, but the Xitrix TravelPro M-10 is its first netbook.
The TravelPro M-10 has the regular netbook specifications. It is powered by an Intel Atom N270 processor and runs Windows 7 Starter Edition. Connectivity options include 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1.
But in some other aspects it is better. Unlike conventional netbooks which come with 1GB of RAM, the TravelPro-M10 allows you to install up to 2GB of RAM. It also has a 320GB of hard disk drive. With such premium features this computer can easily run Windows 7 Home Premium, but for some reasons best known to Xitrix, it runs Windows 7 Starter.
The TravelPro M-10 weighs around 2.2 pounds. Prices start at 22,995 Philippine Pesos, or about $493 US
