Laptop hardware manufacturers Samsung have released the Spinpoint M6 HM320JI 320GB 2.5 inch HDD for laptops which features 8MB cache memory with Serial ATA interface and 5,400 rpm speed.This hard drive has an optical Free-Fall sensor which protects the stored data if it is accidentally dropped. It makes use of the PMR (Perpendicular Magnetic Recording) technology with optical Rotary Vibration Controller to reduce the effect of external vibrations.
