A tipster claims Microsoft is scheduling to upstage WWDC by announcing a Blu-Ray Xbox 360. A tip has been scooted out spelling Microsoft plans to 'upstage' Apple by launching a Blu-Ray drive for the Xbox 360 an hour before WWDC. The tip comes from the acquaintance of a Microsoft employee, and the claim reveals the Xbox 360 Blu-Ray will be obtainable for Christmas 2008. "I‘ve got a secure friend who works at Microsoft, formerly with the HD-DVD division and at present in the E&D division (Xbox, Zune). I’m told MS will upgrade Apple with a Monday 9am PDT publication (1 hour before WWDC) via press discharge that the Xbox 360 will avail Blu-Ray before Christmas.
