It seems Dell is trying to get into the Guinness Book of World Records for building the thinnest possible laptop. The proposed thin Dell Adamo will measure just 0.4 inches in thickness. At this dimension it will easily beat Apple’s MacBook Air in the battle for being the thinnest.
Dell has not yet released the details of this anorexic baby. Dell’s website only claims that it is 0.4 inch in thickness. Nearest competitior MacBook Air is 0.75 inches thick. The thin Adamo will have a 13 inch screen and is expected to weigh 3 to 4 pounds.
Dell calls the product a ‘design concept’. It will be interesting to see whether they will actually manage to make a device of these dimensions.
