The soon-to-be launched HP Envy 13 is a premium notebook aimed at the consumer market. It measures just 0.8 inch in thickness and weighs 3.74 pounds.
The Envy 13 has slightly lower specifications than HP Voodoo PC Envy 13. It is powered by a low-voltage Intel Core 2 Duo Processor SL9400 clocking 1.86 GHz. There is a switchable ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 discrete GPU for good gaming and graphics performance.
Another striking feature of the notebook is its 13 inch ‘HP Radiance Display’ that delivers improved color quality and exceptional brightness. The speakers come with a ‘Beats Audio’ feature that would considerably improves the audio quality. HP claims that the ultra-high capacity battery on the notebook will offer up to 18 hours of uptime.
Other features include HP QuickWeb that gives quick access to internet, music, videos and photos in seconds.
Pricing and availability
HP Envy 13 is expected to be available soon after the release of Windows 7 in October. Prices will start at $1,699.
