Telsda, a Chinese handset maker, has forayed into the netbook market with a convertible touch screen device that would remind you of Asus Eee PC T91 or Gigabyte TouchNote.
The Telsda netbook is equipped with a 10.1 inch touch screen display and a swivel that allows you to rotate the display and fold it down over the keyboard. The machine weighs 2.9 pounds. It is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor with 1GB of RAM and 160GB hard disk. Other features include VGA port, a 1.3MP webcam and flash card reader. Optional features include 3G wireless. Sources claim that the device will sell for less than $300.
